I was pleased to see that Hao Wu is out of prison now.

Hao was arrested by the Chinese authorities for unknown reasons - it may have been due to a crack-down on churches in China - and his family feared that he may not return. The detent (read the entire post)...

This recent SANS Handler's diary post says an exploit for a new Linux kernel vulnerability has been posted. The exploit provides privilege escalation and works on all 2.6.x kernels, although SANS says SELinux stops it from working.
