Today's strange Internet Explorer 8 error message

, posted: 2-Jun-2009 11:04

Windows 7 x64 is great but I'm not totally convinced about Internet Explorer 8. Of all the browsers I've tried - IE6/7, Opera 9.x, Safari 3/beta 4, Chrome 1.x/2.x, Firefox 3.x and betas - IE8 is the only one to choke on Gmail's Javascript (read the entire post)...

Orcon lays off 23 staff

, posted: 5-May-2009 13:37

Yesterday, I got an email saying some of Orcon's prices "simply aren't sustainable", meaning the excess data charge doubled from $1 per GB to $2, unless you took up the $8/month for 5GB additional traffic offer.

Watch out: Twitter direct messages delivered to wrong people

, posted: 24-Apr-2009 11:11

This morning, I fired up DestroyTwitter and Seesmic Desktop as usual, to check out what's happening on Twitter. Had a few direct messages or DMs, from people I don't know and assumed they were those noxious and annoying automatically generated ones. (read the entire post)...

Stalky Twittermania: list of artists, bands and musos on Twitter

, posted: 9-Mar-2009 15:32

Twitter is incredibly celebrity driven, to the point of being quite ridiculous at times. Many of the celebs has tens, even hundreds of thousands of followers, but follow few of their fans back themselves (with some notable exceptions like @stephenfry (read the entire post)...
