Microsoft demonstrates voice recognition in Windows Vista

Well, tries to at least.
It is very impressive technology though. Check out the below video, in which Vista has no problems recognising the Borat sound-a-like accent... I don't think Linux could do that.
Update Rob Chambers explains what went wrong with the Vista speech recognition demo on his MSDN blog.
Update II The clip of the demo is on MSN Video too but you can only view that with Internet Explorer. Microsoft only supports clip embedding within MSN Spaces as far as I can tell.
