Coface downgrades New Zealand and 22 other countries' credit rating

, posted: 10-Feb-2009 15:30

The credit crisis spares no-one, says credit rating agency Coface, and moves New Zealand down to A2 together with Australia. Ouch. Things look set to remain dire until at least end of the year, says Coface.

Adding to the gloom, the IMF is now talking about a Great Depression coming up, if we're not in the beginning of it already.

I'm still quietly optimistic about things, but at the same, feeling glad that the garden's grown as well as it is.
