Ian Wishart goes after Benson-Pope for "sexual torture sessions"

, posted: 23-Nov-2006 08:20

So, this was Ian Wishart's big scoop then:

THIS IS A MAJOR STORY, TYPESET IN MAGAZINE STYLE WITH PICTURES AND WITNESS INTERVIEWS, DETAILING THE MINISTER FOR SOCIAL DEVELOPMENT'S INVOLVEMENT IN SEXUAL TORTURE SESSIONS. THE STORY IS FAR TOO DETAILED AND R18-RATED TO BE COMPREHENSIVELY COVERED IN THE DAILY MEDIA.

He's selling the 10,000 word story for a dollar on his website (look for it yourself), alleging that the minister of social development, David Benson-Pope, is member of a Dunedin BDSM club called Southern Kinx.

Benson-Pope says he hasn't got the time for any such Southern Kinx hi-jinx, and has called in the lawyers. We'll see how it pans out.
